The Kuwaiti government plans to spend up to KWD 40bn (USD 139.9bn) on its proposed five-year development plan which runs until 2014. Within this state plan, several massive construction projects are planned to take place in the near future. This will create huge demand for cement and other building materials. The Kuwait Cement and Concrete Conference and Exhibition aims to be the educational and networking platform which provides insights on the latest developments and technologies related to the cement and concrete industry.
